FAQ

What sort of payment do you accept?

TBF only accepts payment via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, please go here to sign up for one. All “Head to Toe Makeovers” require a 50% design deposit due when I begin your job. You will be invoiced for the remaining balance upon completion of the project. I will not install your design or email you any finished products or graphics until I have received this payment. All “A La Carte” design services are due in full upfront.

Do I own the copyright to my blog design when you’re done?

Upon completion of your design a small link will be placed in your blog footer or sidebar crediting TBF for your design. Removing this link is a violation of these terms. Your blog design remains the intellectual property of TBF and should remain in tact as it was installed. If you decide to change your design you should remove my design credit as it is no longer an accurate representation of my work. You may not allow any other designer to alter or change my work in any way. Copying, altering, selling or distributing any part of my design is a violation of copyright. If I use any royalty free graphics as a part of your design they will be used in accordance with their licensing restrictions. I will be happy to provide you with JPEG, PNG or GIF files of your blog graphics, but will not supply any layered PSD, AI or EPS files. You are free to use portions of your design in other web-based applications as they relate to your blog or business (facebook badges, twitter avatars, etc.) All graphics are designed for web application. If you desire a high-resolution, print-quality version of your graphics additional charges will apply.

Why does my site look different on my outdated work computer?

All designs are created to be compatible with the most current web browsing technology. Your design may not render properly on out of date web browsers and TBF is not responsible for these incompatibilities.

Will you add this plugin for me, update WordPress, write my blog posts…?

You are responsible for the ongoing maintenance of your site. Any gadgets, widgets, or plugins that you may want to install will be your responsibility and TBF is not liable for any issues of incompatibility that these may cause. I am always happy to make changes or updates to your design at an additional charge.

Why are you asking my to open up a Photobucket account for my Blogger blog?

If you are on Blogger you will need to set up a Photobucket account to host all your design images (header, background, etc.) I will need to have access to this account in the installation phase so that I can upload all of your graphics. In order to maintain uninterrupted hosting you will need to keep this account active. Failure to do so may result in the loss of graphics on your site. TBF is not responsible should this occur and there will be additional charges for reinstalling your design.

Is it safe for me to give you my passwords?

As I work on your blog design I will need you to set me up with a temporary login and password. When I complete your job you can remove me as a contributor and administrator on your site. There may be times, however, where I will need your login/password (Photobucket account, some hosting companies, etc). In these cases you can be assured that I will be completely discrete and discard of any private information in a timely and professional manner. But really, I can hardly remember my kids’ names sometimes. I promise I won’t remember your password.
